It's crucial to recognize signs of stress, such as changes in sleep, appetite, or behavior, and seek support to address mental health challenges effectively.

Encouraging children to learn about mental health equips them with the understanding and skills needed to navigate life's challenges with resilience and empathy. Raising awareness from an early age allows them to better recognize and express their emotions, fostering healthier relationships and improved self-care. Learning about mental health also helps reduce stigma, empowering children to seek help when necessary and support others in their community. In our book, "GOD Teaches Mental Health Too," we address common triggers of mental stress and how GOD wants us to handle such challenges. While many mental health resources are available, most of these systems cannot detect someone's distress without the person or someone close to them reaching out first. However, GOD is the only one who can recognize and address mental distress immediately, with or without a call for help. For example, in 1 Kings 19:4-8, Elijah wanted to end his life due to threats from a powerful leader. Alone in the desert, without a phone, sensor or network to contact help, GOD intervened directly. This shows that despite the effectiveness of earthly resources, GOD’s help is essential to fill certain gaps.
